Hola! I am a first-PhD student at the Business School and also I work part time as an Environmental Data Assistant at New Cavendish.
This academic year I have been appointed as the president of the UoW Spanish Speaker Society and I would like to invite the Staff and students to join us if you would like to improve your Spanish speaking, learn more about Spanish culture or get to know more people.
Why is important to you?
We will run free conversation sessions during the academic year, there will be some Spanish movie nights (with English subtitles, so don’t worry) and a Spanish cooking workshop.
This is a didactic way to learn more about the culture in Spanish speaking countries South and Central America and Spain.
So no worries if you think that your Spanish hasn’t improved – everything is about practice and this is your chance to do it!
